23 MOU Signed at SAFSA Forum

The inaugural SAFSA Global Forum, which wrapped up in Singapore today, resulted in 23 memoranda of understanding (MOU) signed between global apparel brands and SAFSA Virtual Vertical Factories (VVFs). More than 80 people attended the Forum, including owners and senior executives of 14 VVFs, comprised of 28 companies from seven ASEAN-member nations, and eight international brand-name buyers: M&S (Marks & Spencer), Debenhams, MANGO, VF Corporation, Max Mara, Polo Ralph Lauren, Guess, and AVON Products.

SAFSA Inducts First VVFs and Gets Straight to Work

On April 19th, 11 virtual vertical factories (VVFs) became the founding members of the Source ASEAN Full Service Alliance (SAFSA). A VVF consists of a garment factory and a textile mill who have agreed to work together under SAFSA to maximise efficiencies along the supply chain and offer a value-added full-service product to global customers.
